Virtual Gallery Talk with Victoria Wyeth: Winter Light

Hosted by the Brandywine River Museum of Art

Join Victoria Wyeth as she shares her uniquely personal perspectives on the art of her grandfather, Andrew Wyeth (1917-2009).

In December, Victoria will explore Wyeth's fascinating depictions of winter, one of the artist's favorite seasons. Wyeth sought to capture the mystery presented by this time of year, noting that: "I prefer winter...when you feel the bone structure in the landscape.... Something waits beneath it – the whole story doesn’t show."

The program will be held on Zoom and participants may submit questions in advance during the registration process. Registrants will receive a link to the live Zoom discussion room in their confirmation email.

Limited tickets are available for this popular program. Please note: this event typically sells out quickly. Proceeds from this program support the Brandywine Conservancy and Museum of Art.
