Partners for World Health will be onsite with models showcasing unique fashions created from Blue Wrap ahead of their Blue Wrap Project Runway event in May.
About Partners for World Health's Blue Wrap Project Runway:
Blue Wrap is a polypropylene material used in hospitals and other healthcare facilities to sterilize surgical instruments. This material is created for one-time use in operating rooms, yet huge amounts of it are discarded across the country each year. To raise awareness and funds for our mission to help people lead healthy lives on a healthy planet, PWH staff and volunteers created Blue Wrap Project Runway as an inaugural fundraising event in 2011. This year, in our 6th installment, we’ve partnered with local designers and models to create unique fashions inspired by the traditional dress of countries we’ve served over the years. Join Partners for World Health at 7pm on Thursday, May 15th or Friday, May 16th in the new home of The Good Theater at Stevens Sq. Community Center in Portland for an exquisite runway show and fantastic entertainment. This is truly a show you don't want to miss!
Third Thursday is the PMA’s dynamic, ever-changing monthly event offering free admission and a vibrant mix of experiences. Enjoy live music, engaging programs, food trucks, and collaborations with community partners—making each visit unique.
