  • Portland Museum of Art 7 Congress Square Portland, ME, 04101 United States (map)

SCREENING IN THE BERNARD OSHER FOUNDATION AUDITORIUM

A quietly fierce argument about female sovereignty… a new and radical heroic journey.
— Manohla Dargis, New York Times

95 minutes. Rated PG-13. Directed by Eliza Hittman.

In light of the Supreme Court overturning 50 years of reproductive freedom and its immediate and profound impacts on women, BIPOC communities, and access to healthcare in the United States, PMA Films is partnering with Planned Parenthood of Northern New England to screen the film Never Rarely Sometimes Always. We are looking to create a conversation around this film and how it pertains to our current landscape. Please join Planned Parenthood of Northern New England at 6 p.m. to discuss the real-life implications of the Supreme Court’s decision in the Jackson Women’s Health Organization v. Dobbs case and ways Planned Parenthood is taking action to not only protect but expand abortion access throughout Maine.
