Joyce Tenneson is among the most respected photographers of our time and has been described critically as “one of America’s most interesting portrayers of the human character.” Join the Portland Museum of Art for this special opportunity to hear the artist discuss her work in celebration of the new publication Kindred Spirits: Julia Margaret Cameron and Joyce Tenneson. A reception and book signing celebrating the exhibitions “For My Best Beloved Sister Mia”: An Album of Photographs by Julia Margaret Cameron and Joyce Tenneson: Polaroid Portaits will follow the lecture.
